We work with organizations to develop innovative, practical and sustainable solutions to whatever challenges they’re facing. We work to ensure that non-profits and social enterprises committed to education, health, and poverty alleviation can reach their full potential by meeting their demand for very affordable, high-quality strategic and operational assistance, and in doing so developing the next generation of social impact leaders.

Who are we?

With 87 branches in 35 countries, 180 Degrees Consulting is the largest student-run consultancy in the world. We are a social-impact consultancy focused on helping socially-conscious organisations overcome their challenges by delivering innovative, practical and sustainable solutions. 

The Bocconi branch was founded in 2014. Since then, our consultants have worked with a range of organisations, from innovative startups to multinational nonprofits such as the Red Cross. We help our clients develop solutions in the following areas: strategic planning, communications, financial management and social impact analysis.

We have been consistently regarded as one of the world’s best branches; most recently winning EMEA Best Branch in 2017.

Why We Exist

There are 10 million non-profits around the world that work to feed, heal and support the disempowered and disenfranchised. Yet, less than 1% of the non-profit sector has access to high-quality strategic advice.

This is one result of the financial constraints that nonprofits face and the high prices that for-profit consultancies charge for their services. Most nonprofits, consequently, run operations without ever deriving the benefits of external consultation. Conversely, for-profit enterprises continue to revel under the aid of consultants.

Simultaneously, however, tens of thousands of students around the world are willing to apply the skills they’ve acquired from university to the realm of consulting and dedicate their time to fulfilling causes.
